Netflix and Chill!

What have you been watching on Netflix lately?

I wish I could say that I spend all my evenings doing nothing but reading, like a self-respecting aka annoyingly French and snobbish as hell intellectual (as an Alliance Française professor I'm lucky to have access to a huge library!), but
I'm also a millenial, so realistically, when I come home from work, I look forward to cuddling with my cat on the couch with LOTS of blankets and some wine herbal tea, and watching an episode or two of any addictive show on Netflix.

It's as much a guilty pleasure as reading before bed has been since I was a young child, and funny enough, I feel like watching series is helping me better structure my novel in chapters.

The same way that I have favourite books, there are many all-time favourites on my list that I watch at least once a year: Sex and the City (okay, fine, that one is on HBO), Charmed, Desperate Housewives, 90210, and, the best of the best, The L Word.

And every once in a while, but usually a few years later than most people (which gives me more seasons all at once), I give in to the trend and set aside my favourites to discover something new.

Last summer, after years of being told by friends that I would love it, I watched and became obsessed with Game of Thrones. I am so impatient for the next season, you can't imagine! #NotAQueenAKhaleesi

Currently, I'm at season 4 of House of Cards; it is my afterwork guilty pleasure, and I hope to have finished it in time for the upcoming season in April.

And once I'm done with it... I'll make a post about the books I read lately, I promise!
