This Week

Treating myself to macarons at Tout de Sweet in Downtown Bethesda.

This week has been much more positive than the past few on so many levels; I've regained a lot of motivation, self-confidence and cheerfulness, and I'm starting to get the feeling that from this point on things will only get better. In the meanwhile, I have two happy news to share; this Thanksgiving, for sure, I will have a lot to be thankful for.

The first is that I've started a job that I love very much, in an environment that I've known for years already and am very fond of. The company is extremely close to my home, and my colleagues are great. I feel very lucky, because it's an excellent position (and pay) for someone as young as me. I also enjoy very much having more regularity in my life, after long periods of free time (believe it or not there is such a thing as too much of that). I do not work full time, so I still get to make a steady income, occupy and distract myself, and be part of a community without being so exhausted and busy that I can't model, work on my novel, and write this blog.

Which leads me to the second thing I'd like to share with you: I will soon be publishing my first e-book, which I am currently writing at the moment. It will cover with more depth the main topics of this blog, as the modern young woman's guide  fashion, beauty, food, home decor, and life. I truly cannot wait to share with you everything I've learned through my searches for knowledge and hands-on experiences.

Once again, I wish to express my greatest, heartfelt thanks to my readers; you have given me inspiration to blog, and to keep blogging. Sincerely, thank you.

My friend's cat doing something she's not supposed to do.

My very first day at work...

... Followed by a celebratory cheese fondue dinner with the aforementioned naughty cat's owner. We had a shredder/food processor malfunction, but then managed just fine and had a very great time, as always!
