Currently loving

Although the past few days haven't been exactly ideal (and don't get me started, because what's happened is utterly abominable), I am the kind of person to always look on the bright side. I've been taking some bed rest since Friday, which obviously implies a lot of face-to-face with my computer (and War and Peace... The book. I'm not into the whole Kindle thing). I've been catching up on some Netflix, reading my favourite blogs and trying to randomly discover new ones to add to this list. So without further ado, here's a little link loving!

http://pinterest.com/christiangirrl/pink-christmas/: my only issue with this is that the creator of this Pinterest board is a little too much of a proselytizer, but well, 1) nobody is perfect, 2) First Amendment! Nevertheless, she does have excellent taste, and this board is as comforting as eating cupcake frosting straight from the can... without the added calories.

Drop Dead Diva: it appeared in my Netflix suggestions last week, and I've been hooked. I had been
mourning the end of Desperate Housewives (and the third season of Downton Abbey finishing too fast... yes, I found a way to watch it. No, I can't tell you how), but this show is GENIUS!

This tutorial to personalize your notebook from Piece of Cake/Peace of Mind. I MUST get to that soon!

http://www.modcloth.com/shop/beauty: the URL says it all. Vintage-inspired beauty products... I mean, because you can't exactly use a 60-year-old cake mascara without risking to lose your vision. Can't get everything!

http://violetquotes.tumblr.com/: for my daily dose of sarcasm, and because I firmly believe Lady Violet Crawley is the OMFGBEST character on TV EVER!!! She even surpasses Bree Van de Kamp... Sorry, dear WASP-y redheaded alter-ego; British Accent + Maggie Smith = Winning Combination!

This is all for now!
